PLANNING THE NBNGC
The team had to first identify the project and for this case, VEX had already chosen the project the team only had to make an inventory of parts to begin with before anything else was to proceed. In this stage, the team had to know what parts were available before even thinking of further planning. This was followed by an outlay of mechanisms and drawing the mechanism's processes on paper in form of plans sketched not to scale.
Then, the team had to do some online research about the technologies that the available hardware was running on. It was discovered that the vex cortex micro-controller could be integrated with the other external non-vex motors. The other findings were that the limit switch and bumper switched could work the same way but not used for same tasks. You can learn more about our discoveries in the packages' page.
